Parsons House Cypress Independent and Assisted Living community is seeking a full time, experienced, compassionate Assisted Living Director to manage our assisted living program.

The desired candidate must have past experience supervising care of up to 65 residents in an Assisted Living or Nursing Home setting.

 Responsibilities of the Assisted Living Director position include:

• Providing direct and indirect resident care services in accordance with company policies, procedures and licensure
• Maintaining relationships with residents’ families and physicians through direct communication on care issues
• Directing care planning and care conferences
• Supervising Assisted Living staff
• Managing 3rd Party Providers
• Providing relevant and topical in-services to caregivers and medication aides
• Managing oversight of medication supervision program
• Managing a team of Caregivers and Medication Aides

EXPERIENCE IN ASSISTED LIVING OR NURSING HOME SETTINGS REQUIRED. The desired candidate preferably has prior experience overseeing resident care in an Assisted Living setting. Depth and level of experience will be highly considered. Computer proficiency and excellent verbal and written communication required. A desirable candidate will also have experience in the following areas: Healthcare; assisted living; CCRC; nursing home; skilled nursing; home health; memory care; dementia care; nurse; AL; ALF; SNF; senior living; retirement living; L.V.N.; LVN; licensed vocational nurse; L.P.N.; LPN; licensed practical nurse; care coordinator; resident care director; DON; D.O.N.; director of nursing; A.D.O.N.; ADON; assistant director of nursing; certified pharmacy technician
