Gardens on Hope is a senior living community which provides service-enriched, permanent housing for Santa Barbara’s frail senior population. This new 89-unit community offers residents three meals a day, housekeeping, transportation and social programs. We are seeking a dynamic individual for our Full Time Dining Service Host position (schedule may vary but weekends are mandatory and shifts will begin no earlier than 7:30am and will end no later than 6:30pm which means NO LATE NIGHTS!). We are looking for an energetic, dependable person who enjoys helping our residents engage in life both inside and outside our community. Responsibilities of the Dining Service Host:

• Daily setting and clearing of tables and cleaning of the dining area
• Dishwashing
• Meal preparation
• Kitchen cleaning
• Properly serving meals to the residents and politely taking care of their dining needs
• Ensuring each meal is an enjoyable one for all residents
• Delivering tray service to apartments
• Other duties as assigned by management

Dining Service Host Requirements:

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must pass a nationwide criminal background check.

Pay rate: $13.00/hour
