Parsons Group owns and manages Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities for seniors in California and Texas. We provide a proactive approach to managing each one of our communities. The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting at the Home Office for all (8) senior living communities; oversees company-wide Accounts Receivable including all resident billing, the codification of systems, and monthly reconciliation of revenue for financial reporting; audits daily cash receipts; and provides ongoing support and training for the community on-site bookkeepers.

The Senior Accountant's job responsibilities include performing:

• Oversee Accounts Receivable for operating entities and maintain codification of systems
• Prepare and distribute monthly resident billing
• Reconcile resident revenue accounts monthly for financial reporting
• Audit daily cash receipts and assist Controller with related cash management
• Provide support and training to offsite Business Office Managers
• Other duties as assigned and as required by business needs

Qualifications and Requirements of the Senior Accountant applicant:

• Prior experience with Yardi
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Minimum one to three years of accounting experience with one to two years in a Staff Accountant level position
• Candidate must successfully pass nationwide criminal background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report
