Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join Beacon Pointe as a M&A Business Development Associate in our Dallas, TX office. The candidate will be responsible for the support of the firm’s M&A business development and sales operations team. This candidate will join a highly talented team of investment professionals that support the firm’s merger and acquisitions efforts. The candidate will have a demonstrated track record of both educational and professional achievement; with a commitment and passion for delivering exceptional service to the firm’s employees and clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the M&A leadership team.
  • Coordinating M&A prospect visits to HQ (Newport Beach, CA) with leadership team via zoom or in person
  • Maintaining date relevant to both sales & onboarding process
  • Salesforce M&A reports
  • RIA Database reports
  • Coordinating QofE process with 3rd party advisors
  • Initiate prospecting efforts via mass-email campaigns and/or direct calls to target markets
  • Provide internal sales support to Leadership Team
  • Helping to prepare bid letters
  • Post-close performance tracking (for earn-out / bonus calculations)
  • Pre- and post-close integration efforts
  • Other ad-hoc analyses to support M&A efforts
  • Handle all administrative requests and queries from leadership and the business development team
  • Act as a liaison between Business Development and all other internal departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and client/prospect follow-up
  • Participate in team projects and assist with initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures
  • Other duties, as assigned
