Hospice Office Coordinator Ii

Primary responsibility is to facilitate the communications functions of the business office and provide administrative support for hospice and palliative teams. Facilitates the flow of hospice work including but not limited to: making timely assignments for clinical stuff under the direction of the Director of Hospice, updates the IDT on patient changes and assignment changes, assisting patients and families over the phone and directing calls to appropriate people, updating physicians on patients’ visit needs in a timely manner as is consistent with the Conditions of Participation (COP), preparing paperwork for team meetings and ensuring time frames are met according to the COPs for team meetings, communicating with facilities and marketers, ensuring process is followed to allow for timely billing of claims and other duties as assigned.
